The Family Business

The Rios De Oro family business is owned and operated by the Welker Brothers. The brothers interests originated over three generations ago with their entry into the foliage industry. In recent Welker Facilities in Plymouth, Floridayears, they have imported tropical foliage from Costa Rica, Guatemala, and other Central American countries. Because of their deep love for coffee, the Welker Brothers quickly developed a strong interest in the high quality Arabica bean grown high in the Tarrazu' region of Costa Rica.

Long established business contacts with plant growers, plantation owners, and coffee roasters in Central America resulted in their discovery of these rare, exquisite coffees. They found that the key to perfect coffee is obtaining the highest quality beans and freshly roasting them to perfection. The Welker Brothers Rios de Oro coffee is roasted locally in small batches in order to consistently deliver the freshest possible products to their customers.
